16 Must-Have Reusable Products

Happy Earth Day! I’m a big fan of trying to incorporate things into my life that are better for the environment. Per usual, I have also spent a lot of time doing some nerdy research into what products are good and help to recreate less waste to the earth. So here they are!!!

  1. Reusable food storage bags with seal

These are one of my absolute favorites!!! They reseal and they pass my “dishwasher safe” test because I hate washing things by hand if I don’t have to. They are great quality bags that are strong and last a long time. I have a good stash of them now (pun intended). Here is a link to a pack of them on Amazon: Click HERE.

  1. Reusable silicone straws

Easy switch from disposable to silicone straws that are once again *dishwasher safe*!!! I like this set because it even comes with carrying cases so you’re prepared with your reusable straw! This is especially nice when you’re on the go on a summer day at the beach or a park. Get it on Amazon HERE.

  1. Reusable Paper Towels

These reusable paper towels are so easy to use and you can just throw them in the washing machine and dryer with the rest of your towels. This was honestly a really easy switch for me. I occasionally still use disposable paper towels if it’s something that can really stain, but otherwise this is such an easy switch. This brand is really cute but if you search for “reusable paper towel” you can get lots of great options. I like the kind that can be rolled up on a paper towel holder. Get it on Amazon HERE.

  1. Swedish dishcloths

If you’ve never used a Swedish dishcloth before, well then let me introduce you and you’re welcome! They’re reusable, extremely absorbent and work really well. You can wash them in the washing machine and just set them out to dry. These are really cute and come in a pack of 6. Get it on Amazon HERE.

  1. Silicone bowl covers

These are the best! If you can’t find the lid to one of your containers…which always seems to happen to me…just grab one of these and it stretches to cover different sized bowls and containers. The covers themselves come in different sizes. This helps save you from needing plastic wrap. Get it on Amazon HERE.

  1. Silicone covers for pans, skillets and microwave

I have used these a ton. You can use these lids when you want to steam veggies or if you need something covered when it cooks on the stove or microwave. When you’re done you can throw it in the dishwasher because it’s *dishwasher safe*!!! Get it on Amazon HERE.

  1. Makeup Eraser reusable towels

This switch was so easy! This gets makeup off so easily and is so soft on your face. You just throw these iin with your towels and dry it like normal. Get it on Amazon HERE.

  1. My favorite travel coffee mug

I take my drinkware very seriously. I have been looking for a great coffee mug that keeps my coffee warm for a long time while also still being *dishwasher safe*. This is a difficult combo to find and the YETI mug is a winner! This is a must have for me! Get it on Amazon HERE.

  1. Waterbottle

CamelBak is classic and this specific one is BPA free and all parts are *dishwasher safe*…heck yes! Get it on Amazon HERE.

  1. Reusable grocery bags or anything bags

These reusable bags and cute and practical for grocery shopping, throwing stuff in for the beach or before you go to the gym. I use my bags for so many different things and they have some cute designs. It’s nice that these come in a pack of 12. Get them on Amazon HERE.

  1. Reusable wet bags for swimming suits or diaper bags

I ended up being amazed at how often I used this. It’s really helpful for the newborn phase when babies can ruin their outfits really at all time. It’s also helpful for bringing to the pool or beach so you can throw the wet stuff inside and not have to worry about it. It’s also machine washable so that makes it easy to clean. Line dry. Also very helpful for traveling on airplanes or road trips. Get it on Amazon HERE.

  1. Bidet

The idea behind a bidet is that you use water to get a better clean and then it’s supposed to be more environmentally conscious too because it saves on needing to use as much toilet paper. The company also sells towels that you can use in place of toilet paper when necessary. I haven’t gone that far yet. I still use toilet paper as needed. This bidet is really easy to attach and I like it. Get it on Amazon HERE.

  1. Reusable period cup/tampon

I’m not going to lie. This was a much harder transition and I still sometimes use disposable tampons too if I’m going to be gone all day. But this period cup is easy to use and you just wash it with soap in between uses. An easy switch if you’re open to it. I like this set that comes with a small one and a large one. Get it on Amazon HERE.

  1. Reusable underwear that replaces pads

Again, this might not be for everyone. These are really comfortable and work really well. You just have to throw them in the washing machine and line dry them. Really simple and easy. Get it on Amazon HERE.

  1. Reusable baby/toddler swim diapers

Disposable swim diapers are so unnecessary. These swim diapers worked so well for both of my kids. If there is an accident in the swim diapers, you just rinse them off quickly in your laundry room sink and then wash them in the washing machine and hang dry. Get it on Amazon HERE.

  1. Reusable baby/toddler diapers

This is probably the biggest commitment out of everything in this list. I used a combo of disposable diapers and reusable diapers. I was surprised by how easy it was to use the reusable diapers. The only thing that made it hard was that he needed disposable diapers on the days that I was at work so I think it’s easier for someone who is home full-time with their kids or someone who has childcare that is willing to deal with reusable diapers. Get it on Amazon HERE.
